Collection of personal data

Personal information is collected in the form of name, address, telephone number, email address, date of birth and information about essential health information, and this is stored and processed for use in treatment and advice, including record keeping.

Transfer of sensitive personal information takes place via an encrypted connection.

MetaboliQ uses third parties to store and process data. The third party may only process information on behalf of MetaboliQ and may not use it for its own purposes.

The clinic uses data processors in the EU or in EU-approved countries. Data is processed confidentially and anonymized.

Personal information such as name and email, as well as health information and the like, is only disclosed if the client has given consent to it.

General information about handling personal data

The legal basis for processing personal data is consent, cf. Article 6(1)(a) of the General Data Protection Regulation. Consent is obtained at the start of the negotiation process.

Personal data is processed confidentially and in a secure manner. A data processing agreement is in place with relevant stakeholders.

All information is stored for 5 years after the last contact in accordance with legislation, as well as invoice information, which is also stored for 5 years in accordance with the Danish Accounting Act, after which it is deleted.

Your rights

You may withdraw your consent to the processing of your information at any time. This will stop the processing, unless the clinic is entitled or obliged to continue the processing or storage of your personal information on other grounds, including in accordance with applicable law.

You have the right to access your information at any time, to have errors in your information corrected and to have your information deleted. In certain cases, you can have the processing of your information restricted, object to the processing and have your information provided digitally.

You can complain about the processing of your personal data by contacting the Danish Data Protection Authority.
